Notice of Location Change for School Board Meeting

Last week, Lenawee ISD’s Board of Education Treasurer, David Pray, passed away, leaving an unfilled position on the Board. According to the Revised School Code, MCL 380.614, “A vacancy shall be filled by the remaining members of the intermediate school board until the next biennial election at which time the vacancy shall be filled for the balance of the unexpired term.”

It is with great sadness that Lenawee ISD announces the loss of David Pray, a cherished member of our Board of Education. Mr. Pray, who passed away on April 18, 2024, was a champion for public education, having served on the Lenawee ISD Board since 2016.

This morning, February 27, 2024, a Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD) staff member located a threat in a restroom at the LISD TECH Center.

Five LISD TECH Center students in the Automotive Services Technology (AST) program recently received the Gary Bettis Tool Box Grant. The grants were presented by the Lenawee County Education Foundation (LCEF).

In a showcase of scientific prowess, middle school students from Lenawee County gathered at Adrian High School’s Performing Arts Center on January 30th for the regional You Be the Chemist Challenge®. More than 40 young minds put their chemistry knowledge to the test at the competition coordinated by the Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD), Lenawee Now, and local chemical companies.
