Three incumbents were reelected to the LISD Board of Education at the biennial election meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021. Carrie Dillon, James Hartley, and Kathryn Mohr, all current board members, ran unopposed and were unanimously reelected. Intermediate school district boards of education are elected by votes from local constituent school district boards of education. Mohr was reelected to serve a partial, two-year term, while Dillon and Hartley were reelected to full, six-year terms.

On Monday, May 10, 2021, all 12 Lenawee County public school district superintendents met with representatives from the Lenawee County Health Department (“Health Department” ) for the purpose of reviewing the mandatory quarantine of students who were in close-contact with a COVID-19 positive person while in school.
The Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD) Board of Education has appointed Lynne Davis to serve on the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education. Davis was appointed by a 4-1 vote at a regular meeting of the LISD Board of Education on Monday, May 3, 2021. This was the second appointment by the LISD Board of Education. Rebecca Brooks was previously appointed at a special meeting on April 22, 2021.
