Career + College Programs
The Lenawee Intermediate School District provides numerous career technical education, early/middle college education, and other services geared at students who will be entering the workforce or postsecondary education programs. Local districts depend on ISDs to provide career and college programs, services, and events that meet ever-growing, specialized needs for local students.
JC/LISD Academy - public middle college program designed to fully immerse high school aged students in the post-secondary learning environment and earn college credits while still in high school.
Project SEARCH - one year internship program for students with disabilities in their twelfth or thirteenth year of high school, whose goal is competitive employment.
LISD PREP Academy - alternative school for pregnant and parenting teens in Lenawee County.
Career Preparation Services - allows students to explore/experience career requirements and opportunities throughout their K-12 education.
Linked Lenawee - free adult education and training program that allows students who are enrolled in a completion program for a high school diploma or GED to receive hands-on, vocational training at no cost. Students can earn industry credentials for in-demand industries and positions.
