LISD TECH Center to Host Careers in Motion Event
The LISD TECH Center is partnering with Align Center for Workforce Development and Michigan Works! Southeast to host a Careers in Motion, a free family event, on Saturday, September 9th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the LISD TECH Center parking lot.
Families of all ages are invited to join us to explore careers associated with various vehicles from multiple industries that build, protect, and serve our community, including emergency response, construction, agriculture, armed services, and more. Children will have an opportunity to get a close-up look at the big trucks they love while learning about career pathways. Teens and adults can speak directly to employers to learn about careers and open positions within their companies. Food trucks will be on-site to provide families with lunch options.
