LUX Request Form

LUX (Lenawee Urban Exchange) is a 'closet' of gently used clothing, shoes and outerwear that Lenawee County teachers and school staff may request clothing for a student in need. The order will be filled and delivered discreetly to the school the following day.

LUX was originally student-run, conceptualized during the 2010-2011 school year to anonymously provide clothing selected by students for students in need, like borrowing clothes from a friend.

Please note: LUX is not currently filling any orders. Any submitted orders will be saved and hopefully processed in early 2022 as we work to make this a more sustainable program.

LUX Request Form

Staff and teachers from Lenawee County Schools can request clothing for students in need. We do not ask for the student's name, so that we can anonymously and discreetly provide the clothing. Once we receive an order, volunteers will fill the order, and arrange delivery to your school. The goal of LUX is to have clothing to the student in need, as soon as possible. If you are not a school staff member and would like to request clothing for a student, please contact your child's school.
