Last night, our Porter Center Great Start Readiness Program opened its doors to welcome local families for an exciting Open House! Future students explored their classrooms with curiosity while families connected with staff, asked questions, and got a firsthand look at the warm, supportive environment waiting for them.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and a simple symbol is helping spark an important conversation across our community.

With the support of a Lenawee County partnership, Kelly Shiels from the LISD helped bring awareness to the forefront by placing pinwheels and signage outside the LISD TECH Center. Each pinwheel serves as a reminder of the happy, healthy childhood every child deserves, and the role we all play in protecting it.

A special thank you to Will and Ken from our LISD Facilities/Maintenance team for helping install the display and making this message visible to all who pass by. Together, we can continue to raise awareness, educate, and take action for the children in our community.

Our Trenton Hills Learning Center preschoolers hit the bowling alley today, and the bus ride there might have been just as exciting as knocking down pins! Here are a few photos from the action.

Project SEARCH is taking the show on the road to ProMedica Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise, located at 801 East Maumee Street on April 9th at 4:00. Families of students with an IEP looking forward to post-secondary employment training options should plan to attend.

Math Night at Lincoln Elementary in Hudson was a hit! 🎉

With support from LISD Early Math Specialist Meggan Callison, families explored six hands-on stations covering everything from number sense to geometry. Parents and students learned side by side, playing games, solving problems, and sharing lots of laughter along the way.

The competition was tight and the energy was high at yesterday’s Equations Super Tournament! 🔢🔥

Students from Adrian, Madison, Sand Creek, and Tecumseh went head-to-head across three divisions, and in every round, it came down to just a few points separating the top teams.Sand Creek dominated the middle divisions, taking 1st place in both 5th/6th and 7th/8th grades, while Tecumseh rose to the top in the high school division to claim the big trophy. 🏆

So many students had standout performances throughout the day.
