Today, we were thrilled to host Region 8 Early Literacy Coaches right here in Lenawee at the Adrian Armory for our quarterly statewide network meeting.

From collaborative conversations to inspiring ideas, these incredible literacy champions are working hard to support readers and writers across our region. A huge shoutout to our LISD Literacy Team and all of Region 8 for making the trip and bringing their passion for literacy to the table!

They Came. They Calculated. They Conquered.

Today marked the kickoff of Equations season for middle and high school teams.

🏆 High School: Tecumseh solved for victory by sweeping every division.
📊 Middle School: Sand Creek showed their work and it checked out, sweeping their divisions too.

Teams from Adrian, Madison, Sand Creek, and Tecumseh brought their sharpest minds and quickest math skills to the tournament floor.

Students at Trenton Hills Learning Center got an up-close look at a firetruck and ambulance thanks to the Adrian Fire Department. They learned all about fire safety, got to meet firefighters in full gear (so they know what a real hero looks and sounds like in an emergency), and even had the chance to touch a firehose and explore the equipment.

These hands-on experiences help our students feel confident and safe, plus make great memories!

This weekend’s Stubnitz Family Fall Celebration was full of hands-on adventures. Families met animals from around the world 🐍🐢, took scenic wagon rides, explored the StoryWalk and scavenger hunt, and got creative with crafts.

A big shoutout to Doug from Parks and Rec at the City of Adrian from giving the wagon rides through the park!

It was the perfect way to kick off fall together. 🍁
