This evening, the Lenawee ISD Board of Education appointed Carrie Dillon to serve as a trustee, filling the vacancy left by Vice President Richard Germond following his passing on April 30, 2025.

What a day! The 2025 Special Olympics brought smiles, determination, and some serious celebration to the Siena Heights Fieldhouse today! 🏅
Our student athletes gave it their all—competing with heart, cheering each other on, and showing what true sportsmanship looks like.

This morning, the Lenawee County Association of School Boards hosted its annual Legislative Breakfast at the TECH Center.
We were honored to welcome Representative Nancy Jenkins-Arno (MI-34), Senator Jeff Irwin (MI-15), and Senator Joseph Bellino (MI-16) as they answered important questions about the state of education in Michigan.
Special thanks to our Legislative Liaison, Jerry Johnson, for facilitating the conversation and for his continued advocacy on behalf of Lenawee County schools.
