Job Readiness Scholarship - Apply Online Now!

The Job Readiness Scholarship was established in 2013 by the Lenawee County Education Foundation to financially assist Lenawee County residents with the cost of activities which lead to employment or an improvement in employment circumstances. The application deadline for this scholarship has been extended until April 1, 2014.

LISD Board Meeting Schedule

The 2014 LISD Career Exploration Camps Brochure is now available online! Camp registration begins April 14, 2014.
The LISD was honored with the Adrian Area Chamber's Addison J. Comstock Award, at the Annual Awards Dinner on January 23, 2014.
15 year old Seryna Martindale is a Hudson 10th grader attending the JC/LISD Academy: A Regional Middle College. Outside of her studies, she cares for two Great Danes who just happen to have helped her become the number one dog handler in the United Kennel Club (UKC) open senior class for 2013.
Morgan Inman, a junior at Sand Creek High School and an ornamental horticulture student at the Lenawee Intermediate School District Tech Center, has received an FFA grant to help her launch a cut-flower business this summer.
The Lenawee County Education Foundation (LCEF) announces a new scholarship available to Lenawee County residents seeking to obtain training for a job or bettering their current job or obtaining a General Education Degree (GED).

2014 Michigan Merit Exam Results Show Gains in All Subjects

Gains in all subjects, led by big jumps from 2013 to 2014 in both social studies and reading scores of 5.3 and 5.2 respectively highlight 2014 high school assessment results released today by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).
