LISD Seeks to Fill Board Vacancy
Applicants are being sought for a vacancy on the Lenawee Intermediate School District Board of Education.
LISD board trustee Carrie Dillon announced her resignation from the board effective May 7, 2023, after eight years of service due to a change of residence.
The board is seeking a registered voter in the district to fill the vacancy through June 30, 2025. Based on Section 614 of Michigan’s Revised School Code, the individual appointed to this vacant board seat cannot reside in the Adrian Public Schools (APS) district because the board already has two APS residents.

A meeting of the LISD board to appoint a trustee is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 5, at the LISD TECH Center, 1372 N. Main Street, Adrian, MI.
