The LISD, working through the Lenawee Cradle to Career (C2C) Reading by Third Grade Network, is hosting four weekly Literacy Lab POP-UP events for kids throughout the summer. The LISD and Lenawee Cradle to Career (C2C) Summer Lit Lab POP-UP events are an added initiative to efforts at the LISD to support students and families during the summer by providing engaging learning opportunities. The POP-UP Lit Labs have weekly themes and include a read-aloud story, science labs, STEM station, and Maker’s crafts. Each POP-UP will conclude with a “little free book fair” so that every child can enhance their home library.
POP-UPs will be hosted on the following days, beginning June 19 and concluding August 23. Milton C.
