Center - Outstanding use of digital video. 'Students at the
Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center, created a variety of
stories and poems in American Sign Language (ASL).'

Historic Explorer Interview Videos from T. Vincent's class, Planet
5th, Omaha, NE - Grade 5 student-created DVs of famous explorers
like Marco Polo and Magellan. 'Students used their social studies
textbooks and the internet to research early explorers of America.
They worked with partners to gather information and to write a
script for the interview.'

Culture and Heritage Exchange Initiative - 'This project brings
history to life as students become historians of war, culture and
heritage experiences. This inter-generational streaming media
project, in partnership with the Library of Congress to preserve and
honor the oral histories of American Veterans, brings communities
and schools together in an unparalleled civic pursuit - a
project-based learning experience that is immeasurable in its

Fernando Education Technology Team (SFETT) - Some of the best

is a short film festival produced by students from San Fernando, CA,
USA. The movies are projects for school assignments as well as
projects for community building. Digital storytelling is our way of

Regional Technology in Education - 'Kids' Vid is an
instructional web site that gives teachers and students the tools
necessary to implement video production in the classroom.' Site
provides outstanding resources and tips on scripting, shooting, and
editing. The unique, online storyboarding tool allows teams to
create storyboards which can be edited and viewed anywhere/anytime
students have Internet access.

Henderson, KY educator. Helpful sections include fast facts,
videography basics, video planning, tips for capturing and editing,
and project ideas.

- Web site by 2 Utica, MI educators set up to support a
conference session they presented. Check out their great
