As Michigan’s first net-zero energy, LEED Platinum certified school building, the Lenawee Intermediate School District’s (LISD) Center for a Sustainable Future (CSF) will provide students of all ages with hands-on learning opportunities through product development, demonstration, and active research in the rapidly growing areas of sustainable agriculture and alternative energy production.

On their very first day back at school, LISD Adult Transition Support Services (ATSS) students packed 500 snack packs…a task they will do each month. The snack packs are provided to the local schools for children in need of food to take home over the weekend.
The Lenawee County Education Foundation (LCEF) announces a new scholarship available to Lenawee County residents seeking to obtain training for a job or bettering their current job or obtaining a General Education Degree (GED).
September means a lot of great family activities heading your way! Fall sports, Library story times, Art-a-licious, Lenawee's CHILD Playgroups starting up again, AND our Fall Parent Education Series.
LISD Students Collecting Vegetables for the Lenawee Veggie Mobile. Attention Lenawee County Community! Do you have extra vegetables from your summer gardens? If so , the Lenawee ISD TECH Center programs at the Center For A Sustainable Future (CSF) will be collecting these extra vegetables to donate to the Veggie Mobile for re-distribution in the community.
