Allen H. & Nydia Meyers Foundation Scholarship

The goal of the Foundation is to provide early financial support for young men and women interested in post secondary education for aeronautic or scientific careers. Applicants will be evaluated on academic purpose, character, leadership qualities, goals, work habits and scholastic standing.

Eligibility - All applicants must submit a complete application package by the stipulated deadline as indicated on the application forms in order to be considered. Application is limited to students residing in a Lenawee County School District and graduating from a Lenawee County High School, planning college studies in the sciences and allied fields and having grades permitting college entrance.

There is also a requirement that the applicant have knowledge of the origins and purpose of the Meyers Foundation at the interview. The Meyers Foundation history is available at www.meyersfoundation.org.

Other Considerations - Present policy is to award "starter grants" to selected applicants. Awards are made once to any individual and are only renewable under unusual circumstances.
Application deadline is March 1. (No applications will be accepted after the March 1 deadline.)

Anderson Development Co. & Mitsui Chemicals America, Inc. Scholarship
Two scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors from Lenawee County high schools who are pursuing careers in environmental science. The scholarships are for $1,000 each and the deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

Maurice & Dorothy Stubnitz Engineering Scholarship

A $2,000 will be awarded to a graduating senior or a graduate from a Lenawee public or private high school who will be entering college as an engineering major. The applicant must have shown superior scholastic achievement, leadership, and community involvement and express a firm commitment to pursue a degree in the engineering field. The deadline for application is the second  Friday in March.

Renewal scholarships will be given to the previous year recipient if requirements are met. The deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

This $1,000 scholarship will be presented to a graduate from a local public or private high school in Lenawee County who is pursuing an engineering or health care career. The deadline for application is the second  Friday in March.
