Adrian City Commissioners Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship, funded by Adrian City commissioners and the mayor, is to be awarded to a Lenawee County high school graduating senior who is a resident of the City of Adrian and has written a thoughtful essay about how the City of Adrian can be improved. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Adrian Community Nursery awards scholarships to graduating seniors who have graduated from the Adrian Community Nursery Pre-School. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Lenawee County who plans to study horticulture, forestry, landscaping, natural resources, or agriculture. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Adrian Morning Rotary Club Scholarship - Madison H.S.
The Adrian Morning Rotary Club will award a $1,000 scholarship to a Madison High School graduating senior active in the Interact Club based on an essay written on the Rotary motto "Service Above Self." Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to members of the Greg Bell Lookouts softball team.  Applications are available at www.lookouts.org

 

Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from a Lenawee County high school who is actively involved in the Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee program. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Eric Brandeberry Memorial Scholarship
Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors from a Lenawee County high school with a 2.5 or higher GPA. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Brazeway, Inc. Upward Bound Scholarship
Brazeway, Inc. will award $2,500 to a graduating senior involved in the Upward Bound program for a minimum of two school years and two summers. This scholarship may be renewed for a maximum of three more years provided the student meets specified criteria. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Brazeway, Inc. Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to an Adrian High School student. A $4,000 scholarship to be used for college tuition will be given over a four-year period to a high school senior who has shown outstanding leadership qualities.  Contact Brazeway, Inc. or Adrian High School Counseling office for more information. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduate or graduating senior from a Lenawee County school who has been accepted for attendance at Adrian College and must attend Adrian College. Must have a 3.2 or better GPA. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Larry Camp Memorial Scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Madison High School who demonstrates scholastic achievement, extracurricular leadership, and community involvement. Must have a 3.25 or better GPA. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Harvey & Doris Carpenter Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Lenawee County high school graduating senior pursuing a career in hospitality services and/or business management. The scholarship may be renewed for an additional three years. Deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduate or graduating senior from a Lenawee County school who has been accepted for attendance at Cottey College and must attend Cottey College. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating female seniors from a Lenawee County High School who will be attending a post-secondary institution. Deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who is a family member of a Disabled American Veteran. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Robert A. Earles Memorial Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship is available for a graduating senior from Sand Creek High School with a GPA of at least 3.25 who has been accepted for attendance at a public or non-public baccalaureate degree granting institution. The deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

The Fab 4 Scholarship
Blissfield Manufacturing, Brazeway, Inc., Kapnick Insurance Company, and Merillat Industries made this scholarship possible. $1,000 will be awarded to a Lenawee County graduating senior who is pursuing higher education. The selection will be based on an essay (350-500 words) expounding on how the entrepreneurial spirit of these great community leaders has affected them or inspired them in their educational/career choices. Deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

Fraternal Order of Police Bobby Williams Youth Citizenship Scholarship
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors from Lenawee County Schools with first priority going to someone pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice field, i.e., Law Enforcement, Probation and Parole Officer, Social Work, etc. Deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be given to a graduating senior who is an  active member in a registered Lenape District Boy Scout Unit, an Explorer post member, or Venturing Unit member. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be given to a graduating senior who has been a resident of Lenawee County for four years and has written an essay on "The importance of home ownership and its effect on a local community." Deadline is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 award will be given to a graduating senior from a public high school in Lenawee County who has been accepted for attendance at a public or private post-secondary learning institution and has been receiving special education services immediately prior to qualifying for graduation. Lenawee County Direct Support Professionals Scholarship

Two $750 - $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to currently working employees of a Lenawee specialized residential group home, supported living apartment setting, or community connections. Applicants must have had at least six months of continuous employment with the current employer. Courses must be taken at LISD TECH Center Adult Learning or JCC @ TECH. Deadline is the second Friday of March.

Three scholarships are available for Lenawee County graduating high school seniors for the following:

Ivan & Elilene Hunt FFA Alumni – graduating senior and must have GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Michigan FFA Alumni Scholarship Program for FFA members as Freshmen in the CANR at Michigan State University  - Must be FFA member, enrolled at MSU in College of Agriculture and Natural Resources or the college of Veterinary Medicine as freshmen.

Lenawee County Fire Chiefs' Association - Andrew M. Schultz Memorial Scholarship
Two $750 scholarships will be presented to graduating seniors from a Lenawee County High School enrolled in the Vo-Tech Firefighter or EMT class and to a member of a Lenawee County Fire Department attending a certified Firefighter or EMS school. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduate or graduating senior from a Lenawee County school, or a high school graduate who has been a resident of an LISD school district for ten or more years. Must be pursuing a degree in the field of Agriculture, Environmental Science, Life Science, or Music. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

A $1,166 scholarship will be presented to a graduate from a Lenawee County high school planning a major in music.  Deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior or graduate of Onsted High School with a GPA of 3.0 or better who has been accepted for attendance or is attending an accredited trade school, community college, or institution of higher learning. Doug Spade Agriculture Scholarship
A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Lenawee County graduating senior pursuing a career related to agriculture. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

Doug Spade Public Service Scholarship
A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Lenawee County graduating senior planning a career in public service. The selection will be based in part on an essay describing how the candidate plans to make public service an important component of their life. The deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

Joe Ann Steele Insurance Center & Harry Steele Memorial Scholarships
The Joe Ann Steele Insurance Center will be awarding up to $1,000 for a Lenawee County resident seeking a new career or career enhancement. Training may take place at a vocational center, community college, public or private college, or university (not restricted to a Michigan institution). The deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

Maurice & Dorothy Stubnitz Foundation Arts Scholarship
A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Lenawee County graduate or graduating senior expressing a firm commitment to pursue a degree in the Arts. This scholarship is renewable for an additional three years if student meets criteria. Deadline is the second Friday in March.

TLC Community Credit Union Scholarship
Two $1,000 scholarships are available for an applicant or family member with a TLC Community Credit Union account that has been in existence for at least two years. The applicants are asked to attach a typewritten essay of 300-500 words on the meaning of our mission statement: "People Helping People." Applications are also available at TLC offices. The deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

This $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to two graduating seniors or a graduate from a public or private high school in Lenawee County who are planning a career in a music or performing arts program. Deadline for application is the second Friday in March.

Elizabeth Ruthruff Wilson Foundation Scholarship Renewal

Recipients of Elizabeth Ruthruff Wilson Foundation scholarships can apply for a renewal scholarship.  The application for renewal is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient (no reminders will be sent). These applications may be submitted between January 1 and March 31 each year that a renewal is sought. No late applications will be accepted.

Awards will be given to pay up to approximately half the tuition (to a maximum of $1,000) for Lenawee County students who have been accepted to a music or performing arts camp approved by the Foundation's board.
